    Mount Pleasant Eco Park

A stunning eco-friendly campsite and venue overlooking Porthtowan.
A 42-acre sustainable community space dedicated to eco-friendly living, events, and education. Once a derelict farm, it has been transformed into a hub for sustainable initiatives, music, workshops, and outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy wild camping and glamping, with spacious grass pitches for tents and campervans (electric hook-ups available). Unique shepherd’s huts and eco pods provide a more comfortable stay. The site is dog-friendly and encourages a connection with nature. Facilities • The Canteen serves vegetarian and vegan food made with organic, locally sourced ingredients. • The Cob Courtyard features a communal fire pit and a cob pizza oven, creating a social atmosphere. • An outdoor amphitheatre hosts summer events and workshops. Events & Activities • Live music & theatre performances are a regular feature. • A diverse range of workshops & courses teaches traditional skills and sustainable living practices. • The Tropical Pressure Festival, held every July, celebrates global music, food, and culture. The park operates on renewable energy, using wind, solar power, and a wood-chip boiler. It also features organic allotments and polytunnels that provide fresh produce for the café. A scenic 20-30 minute walk leads to Porthtowan Beach, known for its surfing and natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, St Agnes Beacon, and Tywarnhayle Valley. With a strong environmental ethos, Mount Pleasant Eco Park is a unique destination combining eco-friendly accommodation, cultural events, and sustainable living.
