A new online resource bringing local news to St Agnes Parish.
Following in the footsteps of sadly discontinued The Bolster, its aim is to serve the community with updates from around the parish.
If you'd like to contribute any local news or announcements (be that a sports club, community group, or personal story), please get in touch.
At some point in the future we hope to create a printed version of the news for those not online but this will depend on the success of the online version.
Wasson!
So with the schools back I think it’s safe to say that silly season is over now 🙂 and you would think that with the end of summer, the parish events diary would be calming down now but if anything there’s more going on in September / October than last month (at least there is on the Love St Agnes events calendar). Have a look on the site or in the listings below. There’s an incredible array of events – really something for everyone.
Residents may well remember the popular monthly village magazine, The Bolster. Sadly the Bolster no longer exists but I am currently in the process of working out the logistics of me taking Love St Agnes away from being a purely online resource and bringing it to your doorsteps. This will of course be supported by advertising and filled with community news contributions so if you are interested in being involved, please email hello@lovestagnes.com.
You may have seen the Love St Agnes banner up at Sevenmilestone this week. I’ll be trying several ways to get the word out about the site over the coming weeks as I try to build it into being a self-sustaining and valuable community resource.
Thanks,
Ben
