A new online resource bringing local news to St Agnes Parish.
Following in the footsteps of sadly discontinued The Bolster, its aim is to serve the community with updates from around the parish.
If you'd like to contribute any local news or announcements (be that a sports club, community group, or personal story), please get in touch.
At some point in the future we hope to create a printed version of the news for those not online but this will depend on the success of the online version.
Although the WI does not meet in August, we have still been busy.

Our coffee morning in the Square raised £450 for the St Agnes Parishwide Defibrillator Network. It was a lovely sunny morning and well attended, with a popular tombola, craft items for sale and delicious homemade cakes to enjoy.

Diane Rodda collected the cheque, which was presented to her at our last meeting. We were delighted to hear that, over the past three years, three lives have been saved, the most recent fairly recently this summer.

We also held our traditional cheese and wine event in our Square. This is one of our social activities, where we get together for snacks and a catch-up on the chat — and wave to the passers-by coming through the village.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday 20th October at 7.15pm, when local historian and author Clive Benney will be talking to us and showing old photographs from his collection.
We are looking forward to hearing this excellent speaker.
New members are always welcome. Look out for our posters around the village, visit our Facebook page ‘St Agnes Women’s Institute’, or email stagnes@cornwallwi.org.uk.
